This area provides examples and links useful for learning about ePortfolios. Faculty can learn how peers in different disciplines are using digital learning objects and other online resources in their courses.

When describing the many uses of ePortfolios, three broad categories emerge: Learning-Centered (Student) ePortfolios, teaching ePortfolios, and institutional ePortfolios.

LEARNING CENTERED ePortfolios:  Explore the tutorials, case studies, simulations, reference materials, etc. that you can adopt for use in your project.

  • In the Spring of 2006, EduTools and ePAC International reviewed seven ePortfolio products. A set of 69 electronic portfolio features were identified and defined with reviews conducted and completed in April 2006. The feature set, reviews, and financial profiles are now available for public use at EduTools ePortfolio Review.
